Jamaat-e-Islami Women’s Wing is not just an organization of women; it is an organization of conscious women. This fact in itself is an indicator of the quality of our leadership. By the grace of Allah, the Women’s Wing has always had a highly qualified leadership.

Nowadays the Women’s Wing works under Dr Kouser Firdous, who has an MBBS degree and has served in a number of hospitals and medical institutions. Dr Firdous was born in Gujrat on 11th October 1953. She did her Matric, Intermediate and BSC from Government Girls High School and Government College for Women, Gujrat. In 1978, she received the degree of MBBS from Fatima Jinnah Medical College, Lahore. She has been associated with the Women’s Wing since 1984 and has served it in various capacities. She has been the Secretary General of the Wing since 2002. She has had the honor of representing Pakistan in a number of international conferences on topics and issues related to women.
