Oath for the Secretary General

In the name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful

I _______________________________ son of _______________________________ who has been appointed Secretary General of the Jama’at-e-Islami, invoke Allah, the Lord of the Universe, as witness and swear on oath that:

1.      I shall give priority to obedience and loyalty to Allah and His Prophet over any other consideration.

2.      I shall abide by the Constitution of the Jama’at and shall remain loyal to it.

3.      I shall perform my duties as secretary general with utmost sincerity and honesty.

4.      I shall do my best to remove any defects I may find anywhere in the Jama’at’s system and work.

May Allah help me to fulfil this covenant. Ameen
