Covenant of Membership
of
Jama’at-e-Islami
Pakistan
In the name of Allah,
the most Gracious, the most Merciful
I invoke Allah, the Lord of the Universe, as
witness and swear that:
1.
I
have fully understood the creed of the Jama’at-e-Islami Pakistan along with
the explanation, as stated in Article 3 of the Constitution of the
Jama’at-e-Islami Pakistan, and having understood it I bear witness with full
sense of responsibility that there is no God save Allah and Muhammad (May
Allah’s blessings be on him) is His Prophet.
2.
I
have also fully understood the mission of Jama’at-e-Islami Pakistan along
with its explanation, as stated in Article 4 of the Constitution of
Jama’at-e-Islami Pakistan, and having understood it I declare that
establishment of Allah’s Dean (Divine Order) is the mission of my life, and
that I am joining the Jama’at-e-Islami purely for Allah’s sake to struggle
for the realisation of this mission, and that I have no motive other than
seeking Allah’s pleasure and success in the Hereafter.
3.
I
have also fully understood the Jama’at’s Constitution, and I promise that I
shall fully adhere to the Jama’at’s system in accordance with this
Constitution.
May Allah help me to fulfil this covenant.
