General Pervez Musharraf, during his address to the third convention of students in Islamabad, declared that the contemporary syllabus of Islamiat is actually generating the sectarianism in the country, so he owed to change the syllabus of Islamic studies from the curriculum. He defined extremism in his own terminology & said that to impose one’s ideology on others is extremism. Pakistan is an enlightened & liberal country so encouraging the women he asked them to break economic chains of man’s slavery. He believed that women can never get progressed until & unless they free them selves of the man’s economic dependence. Further he assured Muslim women that no one can force them to wear hijaab.

On surface level general Pervez Musharraf has targeted the syllabus of Islamic studies but on the greater level it denotes that it is actually Islam itself which is trouble some. He looks for Islam which can please his secular lords of America & London. Owing to this Musharraf changed the whole terminology of jihad & not only had this he also challenged the Supreme Court verdict about Riba. Similarly he is very much eager to alter the laws of huddod ordinance & now he has attacked on the syllabus by calling it sectarianism generating element. In this context Pervez Musharraf is working on a secular agenda to sabotage our values & to crave a path for a new modified Islam. The same is the agenda of America, Europe, India & Israel. General Musharraf while addressing motivated the women to break the economic embargo imposed by men. Although Islam puts the economic responsibilities on men & women may work but its men who is responsible to meet the economic need of a house hold. Now here we can witness that Musharraf as an American agent wants to change the true picture of Islam & its entire frame work.

On the issue of hijaab Musharraf stated that in our society no women are forced to wear hijaab. This is true but Musharraf is surely trying to snatch this scarf from their heads by his theory of enlightened Pakistan
