It has been 60 years since Pakistan was made but to this day the people of Pakistan are unable to understand that Quaid-e-Azam did not make this country for the betterment of Muslims rather it was done for the betterment of the army that the British had created. You have complete authority to disagree with this opinion but to be able to understand our point of view you would have to look at the entire history of the past 60 years in which Ayub Khan came to power through spilling blood and took the political system completely off track. Also the coming dictators also followed in the footsteps of the leader of Marshal Law.

Because of Drunkard like Yahyah Pakistan was divided into two pieces and our army colored their hands with the blood of their own citizens. The way General Zia-ul-Haq played with people’s emotions in the name of Islam is another dark chapter of our history. Once again this nation is under the rule of khaki uniform and black boots. A man who is a paid employ of the Pakistan Army whose most important responsibility is to protect the borders of Pakistan in accordance to the laws made by the political system has taken over the country; and he occupied the country by actually overthrowing and elected government. Can General Pervez Musharraf who earns who earns the minimal amount of pay for his duties, and has a less of a position compared with the secretary of defense and the minister of defense, can I person like that be eligible to run a country? On 14th August when Pakistan will be celebrating its 59th independence day would it not be clear on us with all its importance why Pakistan was really created? Did Quaid-e- Azam dream of a state where the employees of the state would destroy the elected government and take over the charge of running the country and would justify their illegal actions through misusing the courts? Can anyone imagine an I.G police, Vice Chancellor, Deputy Commissioner, Chairman CBR, Pakistan Bait-ul-Maal or some other government employ, which is being paid for his duties of serving the public, would take over the rule of the country? If the answer is no then why did Pakistani Public spend 31 of the 59 years under the boots of Army Generals who were government paid employees? Isn’t the question important to ask that what kind of power do the Army officials have that other government employees such as I.G Police, Vice Chancellor, Chairman CBR, the director of Bait-ul-Maal and other government employees don’t have? Is any government or non government employ ready to explore the importance of this question? Leaving the illegal and unconstitutional take over aside, is it now possible to repair the terrible harms of this daunting practice? Army and its secret agencies are always on a mission to bad mouth the politicians of this country. Because of their efforts politics has become a cursed word. People think politicians are responsible for everything and blame them and bad mouth them. But they forget that the real ruler in this country is the army. The army’s poking in political matters, and black mailing of the public government and giving them a bad name by deeming them unpatriotic and as traitors through their agents in the media has become so open that it’s not even hidden from the eyes of the general public any more.

Yahyah refused to give the Bengalis their rights, he tortured them and treated them like slaves this resulted in the bad feelings towards the center and the Pakistan Army. Our external enemy was looking for a way to destroy us our enemies used the hatred in the hearts of Bengalis for the Pakistani Army and Niazi ended up giving up to the Indians. Now General Musharraf is showering bullets on the occupied people of Balochistan rather then giving them their rights. They are being deemed traitor is the Pakistani public is waiting to see another Bangladesh being created? General Musharraf Pawned the country of 14 billion people upon one call of the honored Bush. Against the will and hopes of the public he supported in killing our Muslim brothers, gave the country in the hands of American secret agencies, helped in created a Indian favoring government in Afghanistan instead of a Pakistan loving government. He also made a question mark out of the Pakistani Nuclear program and displayed ill intentions by presenting the pride of Pakistan, Dr. AbdulQadeer Khan, as a common criminal. Thousands of Pakistanis have been captured and given over to the Americans. These incidents of disappearance have been taking place for years yet our army who is ruling the country has no idea where these people are disappearing to. Thanks to the American Army for revealing the presence of people in Guantanamo Bay which shows that the real ruler of Pakistan is actually the United States. General Musharraf also did away with the policies that have been affect for the past 50 years in Kashmir and against the conventions of the U.N made cultural, economical and film industry related relations with India. Khaleej Times in a recent issue discussed General Musharraf becoming a Dove instead of a Hawk. According to a representative of the newspaper in Islamabad the eagerness of the President to build a relationship with India against the regulations of U.N has hurt the cause of Kashmir. And the important thing to note is that India is still strong on its position since the very beginning. It seems as though General Musharraf wants to be known as a peace loving ruler around the world even if it means foregoing the policies of the Kashmir issue and making that region suffer. In the aftermath of the Bombay explosions the apologetic attitude of our government and the statements given to justify show the weakness of our position over the Kashmir issue. I wish someone could use the unsuccessful dictatorship of President Musharraf to gather the public on one platform and make sure that government employees concentrate on their own jobs and not try to take over the country and become dictators.

The miserable condition of the economy and the corruption of government agents have put the public in a terrible state. The public is mentally disturbed and destroyed to the extent that they are watching their country go towards destruction but the lack of any organized resistance against the current government keeps them from expressing their emotions. The martyrdom of more then a thousand people in Lebanon due to the bombing terrorism of Israel and the destruction of the infrastructure of the country could not be avenged by the only Nuclear power in the Muslim world which spends gazillions of rupees on its army. Why is a General who is trying his utmost to build diplomatic relations with Israel not thinking about battling Israel against its terrorist activities? General Pervez Musharraf has been fighting a war within his country for the benefit of the United States; he is killing is own people, he is kidnapping his own people and handing them to America. So now why not think of his real job as a protector and declare war against the terrorism of Israel? But the American agenda can only be fulfilled by the spilling the blood of Muslims so it is not possible for General Musharraf to give the Israel issue any more importance then merely a defense issue.

Let us pray that the partial independence we received on August 14th 1947 can be completed and the country gets leaders who can guide the country in the right direction and free us from agents civil or army who are working solely for American advantage.
